An introduction of BERNINA Education and our engagement with schools, followed by a hands-on overview of BERNINA Technology and innovative Software Solutions that cover prototyping, coding and embroidery.

3. VIA Projects with NTUC Health

4 x 2h sessions

BERNINA Education in collaboration with NTUC Health present a transformative Values-in-Action (VIA) programme for Primary, Secondary & Tertiary schools, merging heritage with innovation

This intergenerational initiative pairs students with seniors to exchange skills: elders pass down the timeless craft of traditional sewing and embroidery, while students introduce seniors to cutting-edge BERNINA software that digitises hand-drawn sketches into machine-ready designs. 

Through exposure to technology and hands-on skills, the programme fosters mutual respect, preserves cultural traditions, and bridges the digital divide through meaningful collaboration.

5-day Design Sprint / 3-month Design Research

School/Nation-Wide design challenges where students are tasked to problem-solve and innovate with BERNINA Technology. Created prototypes can potentially spearhead further industry research.
