As part of this year’s Singapore Night Festival happening from 18–26 August 2023, the Peranakan Museum, BERNINA Singapore and Harngover are delighted to announce their collaboration for the launch of a Peranakan-inspired shirt, a handcrafted shirt inspired by Peranakan motifs.
The shirt showcases a stunning patchwork design, inspired by the Baju Pajang displayed in the Batik Gallery at the Peranakan Museum. In each patch, a different Peranakan motif is featured, reflecting the diversity and richness of the many communities in Peranakan culture.
