What we do

BERNINA Education is the education branch of BERNINA, the Swiss sewing machine brand.

We provide schools with the resources to create engaging workshops in a variety of themes including sewing with sustainable materials, and block-based programming for digital embroidery.

How we work with schools

We collaborate with primary and secondary schools, as well as institutes of higher learning to create engaging workshops in a variety of themes, including sewing with sustainable materials, and block-based programming for digital embroidery.

Programme formats include Co-Curricular Activities, post-exam workshops, and in-class learning for subjects such as design and technology.

BERNINA Education has also worked with institutes of higher learning to develop SkillsFuture and Certificate of Competency courses for adult learners looking to upskill themselves, with digital sewing and entrepreneurship.

BERNINA Singapore plans to offer similar courses to more schools, in the form of Applied Learning Programme,Co-Curricular Activities, and enrichment programmes for primary to high school students.
